Aqua Therapy

Yesterday I went to Aqua Therapy again.

Aquatic Exercise Therapy
Aqua-therapy will benefit men and women who would like to use the water to strengthen injured muscles or exercise weak, arthritic joints. It is a mild exercise program led by a qualified and experienced instructor. The program is excellent for people with a long term disability and it is a good way to build your strength before or after surgery. With 5 classes per week you can choose to attend as many or as few as you want. Referral by a Doctor or physiotherapist required.

I had gone a few times last spring, then they changed the schedule for the summer, cutting out the afternoon classes and I don't go to town early enough for the morning classes, especially since most things I do in town occur in the evenings.

So, I really enjoyed the class yesterday, it was great to be back and have a nice, gentle workout. I was looking forward to going again today. Unfortunately, I have another headache and stiff neck, so didn't feel up to going anywhere. I am going to go lay down, read, nap so I can feel good in order to go to Toastmasters this evening.

EDIT 6:31pm... I do feel somewhat better after a nap, however still not feeling good. Just called Pat to let her know I won't be there this evening. I am grateful that I don't have a really big job on the agenda this eve, though I still don't feel happy about staying home and missing the meeting. Two of our new members are doing their 'Ice Breaker' speeches tonight and I was looking forward to hearing these speeches... getting to know new members as well as supporting them in their first speeches.
