Ruby Tuesday

Welcome to this week's Ruby Tuesday, hosted my Mary the Teach at Work Of The Poet.

With the sudden drop in temperatures to unseasonal low temperatures, it is getting down right chilly. Between this and the calendar, we are being told that this is now Fall. Soon there will be all the beautiful colors of fall, with red, orange, brown leaves falling from the trees. So, tonight, I want to take a nice look back at summer.

These photos were taken in the park on August 29th, a day that was cool and wet, a forewarning of things to come.

Farewell, Summer 2008!! It's been a pleasure! I'll miss you.

As always, everyone please leave a comment... and if playing along with Ruby Tuesday, please add your link to Mr. Linky so I can come visit your post.

Wow … what a lovely series of photos for Ruby Tuesday. I must admit I’m curious about the checkerboard … just because.
Hugs and blessings,

That is one beautiful well kept park and your pictures are really nice. I especially like the checkerboard and the clock. Amazing!

Hi Alice,
I love all the flower shots but that checkerboard is my favorite - unusual, cool, perfect shot!
