Changes to My Blog

Lately more and more of the advertisers that pay me to blog have been requesting that no post by post disclosure be made. No use of labels, titles or anything like that saying 'sponsored' or the name of the company I get the ops through. I do understand why they request this, or at least I think the idea behind it is probably that, if you know it is a paid post you might not take the time to read the post. I hope you do read those posts too as I do my best to make them personal as well as advertising.

One of the companies I get the ops from leaves it up to me to decide what to write. I am given a key word and a link and can build my post as I wish so long as I include that link and key/anchor word. I like this as I can do a totally personal post. I always work at making that post one that will fit with the content of the web site that the link leads you to. I think this is the right thing to do.

With the other company, I am told pretty much what to say, but still I get to put some of my own words there, some of my personal thoughts and ideas.


I am creating new Label names for these posts in order to eliminate the use of the word Sponsored. Though I feel I have the right to do whatever I want to on my blog, I also feel I owe a certain something to those who pay me to post their ads on my blog, therefor the elimination of 'sponsored' or like words.
