Up where my friend Phil lives, the same area where I used to ride horses all the time, there are a lot of Marmots, and in some spots there are Pocket Gofers. These photos I took from my truck, sitting in Phil's driveway. The alfalfa fields are so full of these little rodents it's incredible. Sadly, nature does take it's tole, and one of Phil's cats, Bear Bear, sometimes brings home a Gofer for his dinner.
