I was too tired to come online last night, so tonight I will tell you about yesterday as well as today.
Being Thursday, I would normally have gone to my TOPS meeting in the morning, but I was feeling 'under the weather', so ended up just going back to bed instead. I read my book for awhile, then fell asleep and was a bit shocked when I woke up to find it was after 1 o'clock. I got up and, feeling a bit better though still not great, I got ready and headed out to my usual Thursday visit with Mom. When she heard I hadn't gone to TOPS, she said I didn't have to go see her, I could have just stayed home. At the time I was rather wishing I'd thought of that, but in time I was glad I'd gone.
Last week, I'd promised Mom I'd skip lunch with the TOPS gals this week, go to her place early, and take her for a drive up to Salmon Arm, then out to Sicamous, and back along Mara Lake. It's a beautiful drive. This week, Mom had remembered that with it being Easter long weekend, there's be a lot of traffic on the road, and there's construction along the lake so it's one lane traffic only. We decided to leave that trip for another time. Instead, we drove to Salmon Arm and took a walk on the pier there, out into Shuswap Lake. Then we went shopping for awhile. We also went to McDonald's for small ice cream cones. Yes, that is a bit of a pattern to go for cones.
Back at Mom's we had a wonderful chicken dinner, then watched some TV. Mom was falling asleep on the couch and I was nearly falling asleep on the computer, so I packed up and headed home. When I got here I didn't even turn on all the lights, pretty much just headed off to bed and watched the TV in there for awhile. I don't think I even read and that's unusual for me. It was before midnight when I went to sleep... very early for me.
I woke up this morning around 10am. Guess I must have really been tired to sleep something like 10 hours. Felt much better today than yesterday. I know I got on the computer, but don't really remember much of what I did today... hmmmm... oh ya, come to think of it, I watched some of the shows I've been taping while I've been away this week and last. Then I went to town to Hannah & Dale's to practice the song Hannah & I are writing/practicing for Pasta Productions. Hannah invited me to stay for dinner, so I did and enjoyed it very much. I left there around 5:30pm.
I went to Value Village and WalMart looking for a straw hat to use for making an Easter Bonnet for Sunday, and I didn't find one I wanted. Reba & I went to the dog park for a walk. Went to Superstore and they didn't have any straw hats. Guess it must be too early in the season, but you'd think that with summer coming up they'd have a good selection. Oh well, I'll think of something. I also checked out some of the dollar stores so I could get flowers and such for the bonnet, and they were all closed. So much for staying open on Friday evenings. Then I came home. I've been blogging and watching TV with Mewsic laying on me and Reba on the floor nearby. The rest of the critters are in cages in the living room too.

I'm so glad that you are walking so much. And congrats on your weight loss...it really doesn't matter what size you are, except for health reasons...it's what's inside that counts the most. Wonderful grateful list :)
