Craig Ferguson

Ahhhh, so much for getting to bed early tonight. I thought I could do it because I am tired, because I only got just a wee bit over 4 hours sleep last night and I am soooo used to getting a lot more than that, my friends. However, I was busy writing to you... then Craig Ferguson came on TV. He does a Late Late Night Talk Show that I watch all too often. Craig is a comedian from Scotland who recently became a US citizen, and always cracks a lot of jokes and silly stuff. Tonight the show was vastly different!!

He just got back from a trip to Scotland, to his mother's funeral. He often talked of his mother in past episodes and tonight dedicated the entire show to talking about her, and even showed a clip of her on his show. He started doing his show in early 2005, and invited his parents who were over to visit him, to be guests on his show. His Dad passed, but his Mom came on. His Dad, by the way, passed away about 3 years ago, now his Mom on December 1.

Craig was obviously very torn up about his mother's passing. He looks very tired, and worn out. There were several times he had to stop talking and fight back his tears. From what I saw of his Mom in the video, I really liked her... a great lady.

I'm glad I was still up to see this show. This was a very different side of Craig than we've seen before... and I liked it a lot.
