Anyway, tonight was a better turn out. Still not many came, only 3 besides me, but at least we had enough of us to play some games and have a lot of fun. Those that don't bother to show up miss out on a really good time. We played board games and cards, and had a great time. I told them that so long as some show up I will continue to host the event, but only if they are going to show up and play.... so guess I'll be hosting it again next month. With luck, after awhile, it will grow and more will come play with us.

Games Night
Last month when I held Games Night at The Centre (my church), no one showed up... not a one. I was not a happy camper!! I know people have lots happening, and so do I. I don't particularly enjoy driving in to town to sit there all alone. If I want to sit alone I can do so at home in front of my TV, with my animals, and save the gas it takes for the drive to and from. Come to think of it, I wouldn't be sitting alone here with all my critters, now would I. haha.

Its really good that you got more people this month, compared to last month.
What did you do differently? What could you do differently?
Did you use a facebook event for publicity?
I've done it for some events and it works out great.
Good on you for turning up for the second go (the intital one must of been disappointing for you), and with word of mouth you may have the ball rolling... Good luck for the next one
I guess sometimes it takes time to get it going. Maybe next month the turnout will double.
