I've been asked to try these Grey Poupon Mustards and give an honest review.
Sure, no problem. I love mustard and I love to eat, so this is right up my alley.
I'm not much of a cook, and can't be bothered cooking for one, so I decided I would test these mustards on sandwiches. When I knew the bottles we were to receive for this project had been mailed out, I took out a roast of free range beef and cooked it up in anticipation of the arrival of my mustards. It took longer than expected for my package to arrive, so before the roast was totally gone, I put some in the freezer.Sure, no problem. I love mustard and I love to eat, so this is right up my alley.
When my package arrived a couple days ago, I took that piece of roast out of the freezer. While it was thawing, I tasted both flavors of mustard 'straight'. Wow, they were good, even like that. The Harvest Course Ground had an interesting texture with the whole mustard seeds, though later I found that when eaten with something else, you don't notice the texture. The Hearty Spicy Brown is comfortingly warm in the mouth, and very flavorful, while not being uncomfortably hot. Later I polished off the roast, small pieces at a time, each with a dollop of mustard on it... first one flavor then the other. When the roast was gone, it was rice crackers with mustard.
When I was able, I went to the grocery store and picked up some deli meat to make into sandwiches.
This is my lunch today. One with Grey Poupon Harvest Course Ground mustard, the other with
Grey Poupon Hearty Spicy Brown mustard. I can't tell you which one I liked the best, but I can tell you they were both delicious, far better than they would have been with the mustards that are in my fridge. I can tell you that those old mustards are history, as far as I'm concerned. And I can tell you that I will be buying more Grey Poupon mustards when these two jars get low. I honestly find these superior to other mustards I've eaten.

I loved the spicy brown. It was good. Mine's almost gone. :)
Happy Valentine's Day.
Do you remember the old commercials where the guy pulls up next to someone and does the hand roll and says "pardon me do you have any grey poupon". That was my favorite commercial when I was younger
