After hanging around home doing computer related 'stuff' I drove to Mom's, bringing my laptop and long cord along. Here I sit in a comfortable livingroom rocker, recliner chair that I'd love to have at my place, lol. Mom, my sister Marcy & her husband Randy had a wonderful chicken dinner that Mom cooked for us, then a delicious crustless apple pie with whipped cream for desert. We are drinking some wonderful Pineapple Ginger Green Tea (Republic of Tea) that I had shipped up here by Mo at The Wren's Nest.
Mom gave me some cash as well as pillow cases for the wonderful queen size feather pillows she gave me as part of my Christmas gift. She also gave me a couple cake mixes and a can of icing (will come in handy when I bake birthday cakes for the Centre), and gave me a card with a cool poem in it that she wrote... very humorous. I'll send it on for you to read later, not getting up to go get it just now.
It's nice to sit here and relax before I drive home in awhile. I hope the roads are good, and know that I'll be safe even if I don't enjoy the conditions of the winter roads.
