Dogs give unconditional love. For me they are the role model for being alive.
-- Gilda Radner --
I agree with Gilda on this one. We all could learn a lot from dogs. Unconditional Love, Faithfulness, Loyalty, Forgiveness to name a few things we could learn from dogs. Dogs are totally non judgmental, they don't care what color they are or what color the dogs they associate with are. They also never worry or criticize about being too fat or too thin, or not pretty enough. Not only do they not care what other dogs look like, they also don't care what humans look like. When they love you, they love you... period. Yup, even if you're not the brightest bulb in the chandelier. Your dog will never judge you. Yes... we could learn a lot from dogs.
Welcome to a tiny part of my life. Sometimes I miss having a dog. But then I remember that my indoor cat has many of these same qualities. There's something different about an indoor only cat.
