They're back
Don and Angel left in the wee hours of Thursday morning to go on a trip to Calgary, Alberta, to take care of some business Don needed to do there, as well as to visit his one sister & brother-in-law, introducing Angel to them and their little dog (Angel's cousin, lol). Don said they'd be back today, so I expected to see them for coffee and doggie kisses when they got back. At no time did I hear anything that sounded like Don's truck driving into the yard, so I was beginning to wonder. However, I know he likes to travel late at night when there is less traffic on the roads, so maybe he'd changed his mind about arriving back today, and would be leaving there late tonight, and would be here by the time I leave for church in the morning. A wee bit ago I decided to go out to my truck to pull Reba's blankets out from under the spare tire so she can use them tomorrow, and grab the empty cardboard boxes out of there so they're not in her way. I found that it is snowing very heavily out there, and has been for a bit now, though hard to say for how long. I also noticed that Don's truck is down in the orchard where he parks, and no lights are on in the trailer. I guess when he got home earlier this evening the TV must have covered the sound of his truck... and he must have been extremely tired and gone straight to bed. It's good to know he and his little dog Angel made it back safely.
