Manic Monday - Wish

Manic Monday is the creation of Mo at It's A Blog Eat Blog World. It's a wonderful and fun way to spend Mondays each week, and to see how other people think. This week, Mo has chosen wish as the word for us to work/play with.

Star light
Star bright
First star I see in the sky tonight
I wish I may
I wish I might
Have this wish I wish tonight.

As a child, that was nearly a mantra. As an adult, a metaphysician, I don’t believe in wishing or wishes. Oh, I’ll sometimes say things like “I wish you a wonderful day” because it’ an easy way of expressing what would be a challenge to express to most people if I didn’t use that term. “I know the truth for you, that you are now having a wonderful, joyous day. Knowing that God expresses itself as you, though you, in perfection, wholeness, completeness in every way.”

Wishing is just empty wanting with no power behind it. “I wish I could loose weight… but I won’t stop eating hamburgers, fries and chocolate bars, oh ya, or donuts either.” or “I wish I was rich. I think I’ll get another credit card.” Well, you get the point.

When I want something, I decide. I know.

Oh hell, who am I trying to kid. I wish, I wish, I really really wish!! Sigh. I just had hugs and a kiss from an old, dear friend (White Buffalo Man Many Feathers, I talked of him before)… a man I dearly wish…… but we won’t go there. I know that there is a man for me who is the ‘right and perfect’ man for me, and as much as I want him, I know this one is not the ‘right and perfect’ man for me. So I wish. And I won’t get what I wish for. Yet, as I know the truth for myself, as I use the Law Of Attraction, I draw to me what I have decided to have in my life. I draw to me the man that is right for me.

1:37am Monday…. I wrote the above this afternoon at a workshop. Since then, I have been home, but not alone. Oh yes, Don & Angel were here, and also Moe, the man I told you about that took me on a date recently. Moe phoned and asked if he could come visit for awhile and I said okay. He does seem nice. Part of me wonders if he will turn out to be that man I have been working on attracting into my experience. I’ve been working on that for some years now, working on creating a new me who is worthy of such a man as I want. This one seems very nice which is good, and he is intelligent, and yet there are some things about him that scare me. Ah well, time will tell what is what.

I ‘wish’ you all a wonderful week.

Namaste

Enjoy your Manic Monday. See you all later in the week.

Wishes are simply sign posts showing the way you want to travel.

You know a wish is like a dream, it doesn't happen very often that a dream comes true or a wish fulfilled but why not let us dream ! BTW from experience I can tell you that a "right and perfect" man doesn't exist, lol ! not even Mr. Gattino is right and perfect but I "support" him since 38 years and I am still alive !

I never even thought of that little jingle and I've said it a million times as a kid. Very well done and good luck on the man. Have a great MM. :)
