A Wee Snippet of my History

In January 1983 I was in a car crash. I was driving my 1980 Toyota 4x4 pick-up truck and was hit from the side and knocked off the highway. It was late at night and there was a lot of black ice out. As I left Enderby after the night club closed down, I felt my wheels break loose a couple times so knew there was black ice, and I put my truck into 4 wheel drive, high range. A little further down the highway, I went down a big hill and across railway tracks that are on a fairly sharp corner and the back wheels of my truck broke loose, putting me into a 'fish tail' situation where the back of the truck was sliding to one side then the other and back again. I took my feet off the peddles and kept steering, the front wheels pulled my truck out of the skid, no problem. Feet back on peddles, about to start accelerating again when SLAM, a large van hit my truck just behind the driver's door. This knocked my truck sideways and as soon as the passenger side wheels dropped down into the ditch, the driver's side wheels went up and the truck rolled over. I don't remember anything from when then roll started until it was over... it's a blank. Driver's side wheels lifting, all happening in slow motion, then sitting still out in the 'boons' the truck still running, me feeling 'odd', still in 'slow-mo', I guess. I had to slowly, consciously think things out. To tell myself "Turn off the key" was not enough. I had to say "Lift your right arm, reach out and hold the key. Now turn it off, turn it towards you. Pull the key out........" You get the rest. When I next tried to open the door and it wouldn't open, I went into some kind of panic mode I guess, and kicked it open. As I got out, the guy that had hit me was just coming up the the truck, asking if I was okay. I started punching him because he had hurt my truck. I thought I was okay, but my truck!!! I guess it's obvious by now that I was in shock.

I had hurt my back and over the months, one of the doctors I'd had to see decided that a breast reduction operation might help lessen the strain on the back, and therefor help relieve some of the pain. I had a very good surgeon who did a very nice job.

I'm sure that the people at Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery are also good at what they do. From what I see on TV, I know that many people in the US have plastic surgery... California breast augmentation, Beverly Hills liposuction to name just two. Note: this is a medical web site and does have nudity, which may offend some people.

It looks like you really love your truck to have such a reaction.
