I wanted to stay home today, but that didn't happen, lol. I did get to have a nice sleep in this morning (went to bed about 2:30am again), but then had to go back to town. Yesterday when I bought the chicken feed, I asked for 'chick scratch'. She went to the back and got it, I paid for it, and she took it to the truck for me (was on a cart the whole time). When I got home and later went out to feed the chickens, I opened it and found it was NOT chick scratch. In fact, it was medicated chick starter. Not the kind of thing I want to be feeding my birds.
While in town exchanging the chicken feed, I also went to the food bank and got the left over bread they'd otherwise throw into the garbage bin. I often go do this, and they give me huge bags full of bread and buns, sometimes donuts and such too, for the chickens.
Then I went to the Everything For A Dollar Store and got batteries for my little flashlight (AAA) and for my cordless mouse (AA), and a few other little things. Next, across the big parking lot to Wal Mart, got cream for my cat Shadow, and ended up bringing home 4 new plants and a big bag of potting soil too, lol. I have a lot of plants already, and they all are needing my attention.
When I got home, I did a bunch of 'work' on this blog and Reba's Run. Caught some TV too.
