The next thing in the email was "Have you claimed your blog on technorati?" My first response... "HUH? TechnoWHO?", or something like that :o) So I've been doing research, trying to figure out what the heck she means.
I have now registered an account with Technorati and am currently in the process of "claiming my blog". Part of this is posting a code to my blog. I don't have to leave it here, it can be removed once the Technorati spiders read it. I figure I may as well make it a post that will stay, and might help (inform) my fellow bloggers, just in case they are interested. I've never heard of this before and still wouldn't have a clue if Kai hadn't been good enough to share this with me... so I'm "passing it forward".
This isn't for the average blogger, just for those trying to make some $money$ with their blogs. (See EDIT below for new thought on this)

EDIT: June 24. "Thanks" to Kai for giving me some wonderful new thoughts on subject. Here is what she said: "Techonorati is also good for the average blogger - that was you can always see who's linking to you and what they had to say! Especially great when you've been tagged with a meme!"

Whoo hoo! Look at you go!
Great job Alice. Techonorati is also good for the average blogger - that was you can always see who's linking to you and what they had to say! Especially great when you've been tagged with a meme!
Can I ask why you have comment moderation enabled? I've never had it and I think I've only had like a couple instances of comment spam. Just wondering!
Good luck with your pay per post!
Kai - yup, a regular old road runner, haha. Thank you {bow, bow}. I'll edit in to the post that Technorati is for everyone... thanks for correcting me on this.
Re Comment Moderation: With an old blog I had some problems with spam, people posting ads in my comments, so I went to Word Varification. With this blog I had WV for awhile, then got rid of it and use CM instead. Just the other day Rodrigo (or something like that) posted a comment in some other language that looks to me like an ad for T-shirt sales. I'm glad it never got onto my site. I see he got Skittles, though. The Comment Policy I posted on my sideboard is recommended by and copied from BetaBlogger 4 Dummies.
Travis - Thank you very much for the good wishes. So far it's looking pretty good.
Kai is a sweetheart! I just added you as a favorite to my Technorati :)
