The more links there are from other blogs to mine, the better Page Rank I will have for doing PayPerPost ads, and I do want to increase this ranking.
If you are a PPP postie and know a better or easier way to increase my Page Rank, please tell me how.

Sad to say this is pretty much the way you go about raising your PR. It's all about the links! Get your blog on some of the free blog directories out there - sign up for the PPP forums (you can list your URL in your signature), and commenting on blogs that have do-follow enabled (like I do - leave your name and URL and google will count it as a link. Anywhere and everywhere that you can leave your URL - sign up to mybloglog, and the other ones like it. Add your URL to grokodile (a blog directory) etc.
Next PR update won't be for a couple of months, so you have lots of time! :-) It takes time - you'll notice that higher ranking blogs have been around for a few years. It'll all add up though!

Becca - I just checked your page rank. You're right, you don't have one, lol. In case you're interested, I got this reply:
N/A (not available) - it is not possible to show the pagerank at the moment
The N/A pagerank (grey pagerank bar) might be due to one of the following reasons:
(1) the web page is new and it is not ranked by Google yet,
(2) the Google's server is not able to return the pagerank value at the moment,
(3) the web site is banned by Google,
(4) our PR checking tool is not able to get the page rank value at the moment, etc.
