This is meant to a replica of Whiplash, wearing my Dad's old brand the "Bar JP". He has ridden my right shoulder for about 11 years now, and will do so until about 10 days after I'm dead. As you can see, I've got some very "creative moths" in my closet. They eat hearts into the right shoulder of some of my shirts and dresses. Unfortunately, this is a scanning of an old picture that has some damage to it, so you may notice some white spots on it. They are the damage, not the tattoo. One of these days I will have to find someone to take a new picture with my digital camera.
The tattoo was a gift to me from and by an "old friend", Tom at Shambhala Tattoos. I get a LOT of compliments on this, both the quality of the work, and the "subject". Thanks again, Tom.
Unfortunately, both Whiplash and Dad have left my life. I miss them both... a lot. I've written a poem for each of them... Love at First Sight and The Story of Jesse James.
:o)
