Three Word Thursday

This week's words are:
propinquity, susurrus, & nescience.
What do they mean? The definitions are at the bottom of this post. To visit Quilly (the inventor of this meme) and other participants, click on the above 'name of the game'.

"I am painting everything green today," she said to no one in particular. "A beautiful spring green!" Having awoken to find it snowing, she was determined to 'think spring' in order to help the season strengthen its fight to emerge from the grips of a winter that just didn't want to go away. "And I think I'll throw in some other colors too, to help the flowers grow." Spring was her favorite time of year, she had a
propinquity with the warmth and the growth that took place, and she was determined not to miss out on it just because winter was being so stubborn holding on like this. She would create her own spring if she had to. She had thought about taking one of those Vegas vacations in the hope of finding spring, then decided to stay home and create it here.

Later in the day, after the snow had stopped and melted clean away, the sun managed to poke out through the clouds here and there through out the afternoon. This was wonderful and she so enjoyed her walk along the river. Walking along, enjoying the fresh, clean air, she suddenly stopped short to listen. There it was again! A subtle
susurrus in the brush. The hairs on the back of her neck stood up, as she stood there, nescience as to what to do, she was frozen in place. As she again heard the quiet susurrus, she started to scream but the sound was unable to break free of her throat, stuck there as if by glue. She tried to run and found her feet had been slathered in the same glue, therefor would not move from the path. She nearly fell on her face in response to the feet failing to move. Just as she was about to faint from fear, sure she was about to be raped or murdered, she finally saw him. Big, hairy, beautiful, shining gold in the sun as he broke free from the bush in which he had been walking. She tried to speak, and couldn't. He walked slowly over to her, reached out and licked her hand, then laid down on the ground by her feet. She exhaled a loud sigh of relief, then bent down and patted the big dog's head.

Quivel (Quilly words drivel) & Qiku
This is my first try at Quivel or Qiku. Dr. John came up with the idea, and he says: Remember to write quivel you must write something that looks like a poem, any style , but is so bad that if it was printed in a book of poetry a true poetic zoilist would tear it out and burn it. What looks like bad haiku is really qiku where the middle line must always contain a Quilly word.

Quivel:

The guy stood in propinquity
With the kitchen sinkuity
Having nescience of susurrus
He created quite a nasty fuss.

Qiku:

Eating the cupcake.
Propinquity
with that and her tea.

propinquity:
1. nearness in place; proximity.
2. nearness of relation; kinship.
3. affinity of nature; similarity.
4. nearness in time.

susurrus:
a soft murmuring or rustling sound; whisper.

The soft susurrus and sighs of the branches. --Longfellow.

nescience:
lack of knowledge; ignorance.

what acqunserful story and it ended up being a dog. I really liked that and the quivel was good also. What made it the best was being all in Heen for spring.

Well, Thom Thom... thanks for the compliment... I think. Haha. I looked for definitions in English and Hawaiian for 2 of your words and nothing was found... not like you to have typos, so I must ask you... what do 'acqunserful' and 'heen' mean?
