I Am Grateful

I had the headache again most of today, that's 8 days now and I am really tired of it. That's it for negative news, now to get to the positive!!

It was warm and melting today... gotta love that.

I contacted some prospective volunteers through the local Volunteer Bureau, for Pasta Productions, the fund raiser I am working on for the Okanagan Centre for Spiritual Living. I have a few that are interested and will meet with them tomorrow afternoon.

I worked on the computer and created a poster and tickets for Pasta Productions. Things are coming along nicely, which is good as the event is happening on April 24 which seems a long ways away, but will be here before we know it.

The dashboard on my Blogger, and the window for commenting on other blogs, got really small today and I don't know why it's like this. I wish it would go back to normal as it's a challenge to work with such a tiny window and tiny letters.

I'm bathed in sweat, so thought it must be pretty warm in here. Just let Reba out and looked at the thermometer which says 72°F, so not all that warm in here after all. If it's that temp in the loom room where the stove is, then down in my bedroom it's fairly chilly. I turned up the auger speed on the pellet stove.

Today, DW went over onto the chinchilla cages and chewed a big area of wall paper off the wall, and ruined an 8x10 photo I have on the wall of a water fall, I took it on my trip to Alaska in 2005. She hasn't been doing this sort of thing since I moved the chins into the back room, but now they're back in the living room she's at it again. She spent the rest of the day in her cage after I caught her. She's been going into Paco's cage lately and ripping all the newspaper on the floor of his cage into little bits & pieces, which I don't really mind if it entertains her, but I sure wish she'd quit ruining all my wallpaper!!

This evening I talked to Pat, my friend from Toastmasters & TOPS, about planning the upcoming Speech Contest evening. I am taking this on to fulfill a project requirement in my Leadership Manual. I am very close to achieving my Competent Leadership award, and this will get me much closer. It will take place April 3.

- I am grateful to be going to bed now. Good night, my friends... sweet dreams.
