Well, today was a better day than most I've had recently. I am still experiencing some headache and stiff neck stuff, but not as bad as it has been. Nessa said "I have had a headache since Monday and I have talked to several people experiencing the same thing. Very annoying. I think it is the constant fluctuation in the weather."... and a friend that lives here said she gets headaches for that same reason, called it barometric pressure, and has been having them lately. So I guess that the weather could very possibly be behind this. I sure hope it changes soon.
I've not done a lot, mostly just stayed home and relaxed a lot. However, I did do a few things between relaxing, lol. I cleaned, then moved the 3 chinchilla cages (4 chinchillas) from the back room into the living room. I also dug out a cage that was in storage, to use for Paco in place of the budgie cage that is too small for a parrot, but considering he is a small parrot who spends most of his time out of the cage, it worked well for awhile. DW seems to like this 'new' cage better than her larger one, silly bird. It's extra crowded in here now, but I do like having all the animals in here with me again, and I am sure they are happier too than being back there without me. The rabbit, Grace Hawk, still is back there, all alone, but that will change too.
With the cages out here, it will make it more possible for me to clean that room so the laminate flooring can be installed in there. I have to get back to that soon, between my busy schedule and the headaches, and to be honest the dreading the enormity of the job, I've not gotten anything done... until now. I want my big computer desk out of that room and into the living room so I can set up my printer and other components and use the desk again. With animal cages moved into there from the living room in late December or early January to clear the area for the flooring job, I haven't been able to even get to the desk, never mind use it. Since I got the laptop it's mostly just been used for a storage spot, and now it's time to use it or get rid of it, and I want to use it out here. I like being in my living room with my TV etc, rather than back in the back room where it's darker and feels cut off.
Speeking of TV, I was given an 'new' one today. Through Freecycle. It's a 27" flat screen JVC that I'm told works well, just doesn't have a remote. It's in my living room now, though not yet hooked up, that will happen tomorrow. I made an offer on Freecycle, hoping to give away my console TV. It works really well, I've had no problems with it since I received it through Freecycle a couple years ago. I just wanted something different. Reba walks in front of the TV and I can't seen it, but now it will be higher. I just have to figure out what to do with the VCR, DVD player, satelite receiver, video holders, lamp and other various things that now sit on top of the TV and won't with the 'new' one.
The TV News just told us the forecast for this week. I've come to doubt the forecasts as they are so rarely correct, but sure hope this one will be on track. Though the forecast is for clouds all week, and possibly rain &/or snow, the temperatures are supposedly goint to hit +10°C (50°F) and that will be totally awesome!!
I didn't go to Sunday service today, or to the Board meeting afterwards, due to the headache issue. I rarely ever miss these things. Oh well, I'll be at the future ones, I'm sure.
Yesterday I noticed a strange sound that turned out to be Ellen, female budgie bird. It's a raspy, rattly sound she's making while breathing, not all the time, but a fair bit. I've moved the cage with her & Tomas out into the kitchen so they're away from the other birds, just in case it's something that could spread. I think I'll even move the cage into the back room tomorrow to make it a bit further away. I can't 'do' another vet bill just now, still not recovered from the last two... and sure don't want my parrots getting sick, or any of my other animals.
I haven't been on the computer much, but plan to still get over to read the rest of the Three Word Thursdays and the Wordzzles that I haven't gotten to yet. Thanks for your understanding, and for the good wishes that have been left for me by many of my regular readers.

Well I'm glad your feeling better. I think the weather has a lot to do in how we feel, but doesn't everyone? Cloudy cold days - miserable Warm sunny days - fantastic. Congrats on the new TV and as always your grateful list is wonderful.
I hope you get rid of your headache soon. I am trying a saline nose spray. Maybe my sinuses are too dry.
Alice, I have been away from my computer and had no idea you were feeling poorly! I hope you are up and better soon. It sounds like you're heading that way.
