I Am Grateful

It has been a very busy and tiring week and time has gone by very quickly. Between being away from home and being too tired to post, I have not been able to post about what I've been doing, or about my gratitude lists. However, I've still been doing, and still am grateful.

Some of what has happened this week is:

Toastmasters on Tuesday evening.

Wednesday morning I went to my first Diabetic Clinic to learn how to live with Type 2 Diabetes. It was an interesting class and I have 2 more to attend. After that, I had to go get a Blood Glucose Meter so I can do regular checks of my blood sugar levels. That evening I had my Spiritual Fitness class.

Thursday morning, off to TOPS meeting. I lost released another pound (6.5 pounds gone now since mid January.) Rev. Sheila says if you loose weight you'll find it again, so since I want this to be permanent, I now use her way of saying it... I release the pounds from my body. After TOPS, the usual Thursday lunch with the gals, and then to the second hand store with some of them. After that, off to visit Mom for the afternoon into evening. My sister M & her husband brought supper over to Mom's. M is such a good cook, and Mom has been ill, so she brought us Enchiladas and a salad, and all 4 of us ate a most delicious meal together. I left just after 7:30pm for the 1/2 hour drive home.

Yesterday I stayed home most of the day. Didn't accomplish much around here as I was too tired from the past several days. I didn't get much done today either. Well, I did manage to take the links out of something like 121 old ad posts which was important, and I washed up a bunch of dishes that should have been washed instead of put into the sink over the last few days. I spent a lot of time sitting here watching TV. On satellite there was a Magnificent Seven marathon and I always loved that show, so was tickled to sit here and watch episode after episode... once I finally turned on the TV. I'd forgotten that it was on today, until I turned on the TV and 'Wow!" I also visited many blogs to read their Wordzzle posts. I think I still have one or two to read yet, but must get off to bed pretty quick here. Busy day again tomorrow.

- I am grateful for all things in my life, way too many to mention tonight. Tomorrow will likely see my usual gratitude list.
- I am grateful for all the things I talked about in the above 'note' and for my truck that makes it possible for me to do many things in my life.
- I am grateful for friends and family.
- I am grateful Mom is starting to feel better. (She lost one kidney to cancer several years ago, and now has infection in the remaining kidney.)
- I am grateful for the many wonderful comments left here for me this week.

Release the pounds..I love it. I will have good thoughts for your mom and I love reading what you are always grateful for. It makes me smile and say ditto.

Looks like you had a very full week. I like to read your list of things your grateful for because I am often reminded of things God has given me that I have forgoten to be thankful for like our van which your truck reminded me of.
