I was just getting ready to go to bed, and my nephew came onto MSN. He is currently in Australia, Melbourne area though has visited other areas too, including Sydney and Cairns. It sure sounds like he's having a great time down there. I'd love to go visit the 'land down under' one day too. Heck, right now going to the hill up top is a stretch. Seeing as I'm chatting to Jeremy, I figure I'll do some more here.
Last night I started to fast. Ate and drank nothing after 11pm, because I had to have a Fasting Blood Test today. Another blood test as well as cholesterol and thyroid. By the time I got in to town for the tests, I'd been without anything but a wee bit of water for 14 1/2 hours, so was starving. I hated to go out for lunch as I'm trying to save $$ to pay Reba's vet bills, but had to eat and couldn't go home, so went to the Wrap Zone for a Rice Bowl, healthy and not fattening, lots of veggies. It was such a nice day out that I was able to sit at a table outside and bask in the sunshine as I ate my brunch.
Reba had to go to her vet for a check up. Vet was happy that she's doing so well. She'll tell you more, I'm sure, but is sleeping now so I don't think she'll blog until tomorrow. After the vet, we went to her favorite dog park and had a wonderful walk. Reba was so full of energy when we started, and worn right out when we got back. It's obvious that she's still far from completely back from being ill. She walked up to the truck and put her front feet on the back bumper, letting me know she wanted me to open it up and let her in. She's never done that before.
I needed milk, so stopped at Wal Mart as it was on the way. Just parked and got a text message from Wendy wanting to meet for coffee, so we met at McDonald's in Wal Mart and had a very nice visit.
I spent the evening watching TV, reading the "Educational" presentation I'm giving tomorrow evening at Toastmasters, MSNing with Dan & Wilson, then with Jeremy and Angel, both in Australia.
Yup, it was a good day.

Yay! I am grateful Reba is on the mend!
It's good to remember what we have to be grateful for. One of the Reiki precepts is 'Just for today I will be thankful for my many blessings' and as I repeat the precepts it reminds me how luck I am. :)
Reba is beautiful. My youngest son and his partner have 3 Rotties.
It looks like you had a great day.
It is good to be grateful and you have a great list.
