Random Bits

Hi... just going to put down a few random things for now:

- Dan came over this morning and once again pulled out the laminate flooring he had put down. He was not happy with the way it was going down, and it is very important to get the first several rows right or the whole thing will be a mess. Finally it started to go together better, so we got nearly 8 feet done of the 12 wide living room... only about 10 more feet to go now.
- Ripping up the carpet & underlay, and prepping the floor is far more time consuming than putting down the laminate and its underlay.
- went to use the water this morning and there is none. I don't think it would have frozen as we've had colder weather than this in past years and it hasn't frozen. However, you never know. I'm hoping it is a problem in the main lines and that the city is working on it and it will soon be working again.
- I never heard of Ephedrasil hardcore but just saw a website about it.
- I called the cable company today and had them upgrade me from 'lite speed' internet to 'high speed', so now my downloads and uploads should be a lot faster, and I should be able to use my Magic Jack and make long distance phone calls all over Canada & USA for free through my computer.
