Here are some photos I took with my new digital camera. They are, in fact, the first ones I've ever taken with it, or at least among the first ones... I took several shots looking out through my living room window today and these are the 3 I thought you'd like best. I've often seen shots like this where everything is black and white except one colored object... that is all done in Photo Shop or some program like that. These are all done totally naturally... this is actually the way it looked today. I rather like them.
Which one is your FAVORITE??

That second composition is wonderful, Alice.
Great shots. I love the contrast of the warm, colourful interior against the monochrome outdoors
There's a lot of snow out there. Cool! Well, I would love the 3rd shot but you can further improve the shooting by zooming in horizontally to capture more details of the outdoor. The first two vertical shots did not capture enough of details to make them impressive.
p/s: Sorry if that's too direct but it's how I look through my eyes. :P

My personal favourite is the second one, but the third makes a beautiful scene for a card.

These are great. I think I like the first one the best, with just a bit of the poinsettia in the forfront. Wonderful photo. I'd be glad to be inside if it looked that snowy outside.

The last one is my favorite. I like the framing of the living green aground the frozen, gray outside. That little splash of red from the Poinsettia is like a Christmas ribbon tying it all together. Very nice shot.
wow! I love the last shot, Alice:) we don't have snow here in CA & so i just love viewing white-colored trees:) happy holidays!
I like the last one the best. The red stands out against the rest of the photo.
