THE PURPOSE BEHIND THE THURSDAY THIRTEEN:

This is my 26th Thursday 13.
Did you realize that 26 is 13 x 2?
And of course, this is the Halloween Edition of T13!
Sooooo.... I will attempt to give you 13 silly ideas of what I could go out as this Halloween Night.
1 - A Pumpkin Plant: Dress in green, make green vines and leaves, and little orange pumpkins to hang off of me.
2 - Alice In Wonderland: Dress in a cute blue dress, and take a tea pot and a stuffed rabbit. (Remember, my name really is Alice).
3 - A rat's nest: I even have the live rat to go with that costume.
4 - Bride: Dye a wedding dress and veil black, and get a bouquet of dead flowers from someones flower garden.
5 - A girl pirate: I have the parrot... and she spent lots of time this evening sitting on my shoulder. Lately she's been biting me a lot, and it was nice to have her being nice to me, haha.
6 - Old woman: Dress in old fashioned dress, sagging stockings, cane, gray wig, purse with a dirty magazine and bottle of booze in it.
7 - Lady Gadiva: I actually did this one year, back when I was slim and sexy, haha. I dyed a long muscle shirt skin tone and made nipples out of nylon from panty hose. Then for the horse, a wooden head on a stick.
8 - with the help of a friend, a two headed woman. My older brother's 1st ex-wife & I thought about doing this one year.... she's left handed & I'm right, so would have been good, haha. Each wear slim fitting floor length pants of same color (makes 2 legs), each wear 1 BIG fake boob, then both wear a HUGE blouse.
9 - Blooming Idiot: Dress all in green, then have a flower thing to wear on my head so the pettles are all around my face.
10 - A bag of autumn leaves: Large plastic bag of autumn leaves with wholes cut for arms and legs to go through.
11 - A fire cracker: Hey, I just thought of this. It'd be pretty good, haha. Dress all in red with a fuse on my head, red face make-up.
12 - Grim Reeper: I have the real sythe, so would just need the black hooded cape and white face make-up.
13 - This one is what I'm actually going out as...

(I just need to dye a sheet black and cut eye and mouth holes!)
It's a good thing my kitchen sinks are stainless steel, or they could get dyed too. Yikes!

Your Lady Godiva costume sounds interesting. Of course, there was a far simpler way you could have done it -- though it would have been a bit more chilly!
Good to see we grown-ups can be sillier than the kids. That's good :-)
Very good ideas ! I think I will throw a white bedsheet over my head with two holes for the eyes and make boooohhh, lol
We dress up for carneval in February not for Halloween. Some kids do it nowadays.
Those are some interesting costume ideas. I say go with the old woman. The dirty magazine and bottle of booze did it for me.

I liked the two-headed woman idea. It sounds like something my daughter and her best friend would have done.

Cool ideas! My daughter is going as a shower loofa, you know the netted ones? yeah its pretty sweet, I'll post a pic, when I get one!
