It must be time for a laugh, haha. Okay, there it was, so now it's time to read the cartoons I'm posting here for your enjoyment.






I have been 'pondering' what to go as this Halloween. I am hosting a Games Night at my Spiritual Centre, and everyone is encouraged to come in costume. I thought about getting a wedding dress and dying it black, including the veil of course, and getting some dead flowers from someones yard. However, as easy as it would be at this time of year to get the dead flowers, getting a wedding dress is not so easy, or cheap, even in the thrift stores now days.

I have a scythe for cutting grass, so figured maybe I'd get black material and make a long cape with a hood and go as the Grim Reaper. I asked on Freecycle for black material, but no one came forth with any for me.

Another thought.... dress all in green, then add something that would look like vines, and some small pumpkins, or make some little pumpkins out of cloth, to hang off me. Or ... well, I had a couple other silly ideas too that might work well.

Now, after reading the above cartoons, and considering I've always been the Black Sheep in my family, I might just get a bed sheet, dye it black, cut a few holes (eyes and mouth)... then go as a Black Sheet of the family, hahaha. Maybe even wear a lamp shade with a little sign "Black Sheet of the Family" on it... just in case people don't "get it". Okay, so I still don't know for sure what I'll be, but this is a good contender.
