We were hit by a big storm today. My friend Wendy has been without electricity since about 2pm, as have others of course. Trees are down on hydro lines and on houses all down the Okanagan Valley!! On the CHBC-TV news tonight they said winds were in excess of 110 kilometers per hour! Funny how driving at those speeds doesn't seem like any big deal, yet winds of those speeds seem very incredible, haha. By the time Reba & I went to the dog park for a walk this evening, the storm had passed, though there was still a small wind, and wow was it chilly out! Very strange weather for this time of year. This global climate change stuff sure has us all guessing around here this year.
