Photo Hunters

About Photo Hunters, Photo Hunters Themes 2008

Out on a drive with my friend Dan one day not long ago, we stopped so I could take some photos of scenery. This is Okanagan Lake, it runs from Vernon all the way to Penticton. Okanagan Lake is 69 mi (111 km) long and from 2 to 4 mi (3.2–6.4 km) wide.

One the top photo, you can see two sail boats.... and on the bottom one you see a closer shot of one of the boats. Click on the pictures for larger views.

Enjoy your hunt.... and have a
Wonderful Weekend

In modern times, why would you use a normal old sign when you could use such eye catching advertising as digital signage?

That is ONE HUGE lake!!!

My 'water' theme this week is a road trip along the coastline of South Texas...ending at an historical mansion. Come by for a visit if you can!! Lots of pictures this time...hope you'll enjoy the history.

I would think it is a river with an end. The width is not very much but the length ! The Garda Lake in Italy I am going to next Friday is 67 km long and 53 km wide at the largest point. It's supposed to be the biggest in Europe.
