This is a Marmot (Canadian Encyclopedia, Wikipedia) that I 'shot' June 4th. He (or she) was enjoying the warm sunny day as much as I was. It's a good thing my zoom allowed me to take the photos from a ways away, as this little critter left quickly as soon as I drove towards it. I actually took this photo while sitting comfortably in my truck, hehe.

We have Marmot around here also.
I shouldn't be saying this, because he's related to the Groundhog, which is a nuisance to the farmers, but... he sure is cute ;-)
