First star I see in the sky tonight.

Have this wish I wish tonight.
When I was a kid, we would watch for the first star of the night, then say this little poem... followed of course by a wish. I don't remember if the wishes ever came true, but I do remember this little poem.
Also, a song from my childhood memories:
Twinkle, twinkle, little star,
How I wonder what you are!
Up above the world so high,
Like a diamond in the sky.

Happy MM! I have lived most of my life in big cities. One of the downfalls of such living is that we can rarely see all the stars in the sky because of the competing lights from the city itself. However, tonight I will look extra-hard so that my wish can come true as well...
I used my MM entry this week to encourage participation in the National Moment of Remembrance taking place at 3pm (local time) on Memorial Day. I hope that your blog readers will check out my MM post if they have time or inclination.
