Weather Report

As I post this, it's 1°C (33.8°F) at 12:27am

(0°C = 32°F)

These are the temperatures for April 21

MAX TEMP : 6.3°C (43.34°F)
MIN TEMP : -6°C (21.2°F)

A mix of sun and cloud again today. Big Wind for lots of the day. I rarely wear jackets, even during the winter, because I am so often too hot. Tonight I wore a wool jacket that I rarely get to wear because it's too hot for me. Tonight it wasn't too hot.

Tonight on CHBC-TV, Mike, the weatherman, was saying that the temperatures we are having are breaking records set over 100 years ago. This cold at this time of year is basically unheard of. Also, they showed a story of how orchardists in the Okanagan Valley are loosing their fruit crops from this weather. The trees were in blossom and with the freezing that's been happening at night, many of the blossoms are freezing. Loose the blossoms, loose the fruit. Lets hope that this cold weather ends soon and we get back to normal before all fruit is lost.
