Today I brought Taz home to stay. My friend Wendy gave him to me. She has his parents and they don't want him in the cage any more, so Wendy decided she had to part with him, and well... a lot of people think of me when looking for new homes for animals. I wonder why? haha.
Taz is a two year old male Cockatiel. I want to show you a photo of him, but I think that it's more important to let him relax and get used to his new home. It's very stressful for birds to change homes so I want him to recuperate from his trip. He does seem to be doing very well. He was just chirping a bit, and earlier he was singing to me. It will take him a bit to get used to the new home, the new human, and being away from his parents, and I am sure he will do just fine. I've visited with him a little bit before over at Wendy's.
