To those who advised me to phone 'Harley' (Manic Monday);
Thanks much for your input and advice on this. I've been giving this a lot of thought. I was raised to never phone the 'boy', that it's his prerogative to call or not, and a good girl doesn't chase a boy like that. My minister & his wife think that I deserve to have the man phone me, and I don't need be desperate enough to do the phoning. (My take on their words). They are of my age group, and raised in the same time and way. I asked my friend Dan what he thought and he said to phone him, and that it's okay now days for the woman to make the first call. That the other stuff is old fashioned. Far be it from me to be old fashioned, geeez. LOL. I also, giving it lots of thought, decided that to hope and wish he'd call, and do nothing but wish and hope, is to leave all the control up to him... to give him all the power. Not something I like to do.
So, I decided that I'd call him. I figured that I couldn't call Monday as I had Toastmasters, and today (Tuesday) I had song rehearsal, errands in town, and Science Of Mind class tonight. I figured that Wednesday would be the best day as I'd be home if I have to leave a message for him to call me back (if he's not home), or if he decides he wants to get together. Okay... so the decision has been made. Now I can't find the envelope I wrote his phone number on!!!! I don't think I put it in the recycle bag, but just in case I won't put either of the two bags out tonight to be picked up tomorrow morning (this means another 2 weeks with this sitting around my house), nothing leaves this house until I find that envelope!!! I cleaned out the truck today in the hopes of finding it there, but no. It was on the dash of my truck and I may have put it into a bag with other stuff to bring inside as too much stuff was building up on the dash... but what the Bleep did I do with it??
Oh well, I'll let you know what happens.
Sigh.
