Todays theme word is heavy. I looked through my stash of photos I've taken, and found these. Of course, if you want to see a larger copy of the photos, just click on them.
One of the members of our church gave us this amethyst to display for sale. The asking price is over $1200, which is pretty heavy, though for an amethyst of this size I've no doubt it's worth the money. I love the way it looks like a boot, and yes, it's an all natural rock, split in half. I haven't tried to pick this up, but am sure it would be very heavy.
This gives a bit of an idea of the size of this thing. Marshall is a big kid.

that is really gorgeous!! my mum has one just like that but slightly smaller. :) did u know that they can grow? you will need to spray it with water every now n then, n it will grow. great shot!

Beautiful! There's something magical about geodes, and I love amethyst.
That's a very big "boot" I just try to imagine how many necklaces, rings and other jewlery I could make out of it. 1200$ doesn't seem very expensive to me, I would have thought much more !

This is a fabulous piece of amethyst. I have a very small piece in my rock collection. I would love to have that one but the price is heavy.
