Today's theme word is narrow. When I was on my holidays last May I traveled a lot of narrow, winding roads. All of these photos were taken in the Kootenay region of British Columbia, Canada, not far from the town of Nelson. It is incredibly beautiful in that area.
Here, not only is the road narrow, but so is the bridge. They were building a new bridge there that I hope will be less narrow than the old one.
When you cross the bridge, you take a sharp turn and start to climb back up the other side of the narrow canyon between the two pieces of narrow road.

Looks like in Italy, there the streets in the mountains are also very narrow !

I love to drive these narrow mountain roads. I enjoyed it when I was a kid and I definitely enjoy it now that I'm behind the wheel.
