Manic Monday is the 'baby' of the awesome Mo (a.k.a. Not The Mama) at It's A Blog Eat Blog World. It's a wonderful and fun way to spend Mondays each week. This week, Mo has chosen ORNAMENT as the word we work/play with.
At this time of the year, I think the obvious ornament that comes to mind is the Christmas ornament.
Because I don't want to do the obvious in any of my posts, I show you these just to make my point... then I move on.
Lawn ornament, or yard ornament, or garden ornament. Whatever you prefer to call them, here are three of them for you to look at.
As a car lover, I of course think of hood ornaments! Here are some for you to look at.
A friend of mine collects pigs, any kind of pig ornament he can get his hands on, and his wife collects dolphin ornaments. On his truck he has a really neat pig hood ornament . I don't know where it got it, but it's perfect for him.
Personally, I am attracted to this one. I love anything horse, especially the real live horses. The only ornamentation my truck has on it, other than the "Ford" emblem and the "Ranger XLT" emblem, is a chrome bucking horse one each side. These are off the Ford Bronco, given to me by a friend. I would love to have a rearing or bucking horse hood ornament.
Now, as I end this, I bring your attention back to the very first picture in this post... the Manic Monday "Tattoo". Tattoos are body ornaments.

A pig in my garden would make me happy, lol ! I would be the show of the whole neighborhood. One of my neighbors has an awful cow in her garden in life size and painted with flowers, it is horrible but apparently a very expensive art work from some artist !
