PAYjr

When I was a kid, allowances, if there were any, were paid in cash. Parents taught their children about money by using coins and teaching the child to count them out, or make change with them on the kitchen table. But things are different now than they were then. My parents used good old cash, there were no credit cards, no bank machines and bank cards.... no 'plastic' ways of paying for anything you bought. Now everyone uses 'plastic' and few even still carry cash anymore.

Now, with things being so different, using coins on the kitchen table is not the way for children to learn about money management, but they still need to learn these skills, maybe more now that ever before.

PAYjr makes it so parents can give the child a Chore, then set up an allowance, print free chore charts, set up reminders without the hassle of writing a new chore chart each week. PAYjr is a great family activity to help start conversations about money, household responsibility, and budgeting. Target Gift Cards can be used too for more than just gifts, it can be used to teach life long lessons about budgeting, saving, responsible spending, responsibility, etc.
