November 6th

Another day gone by, they seem to have wings.

It was 2am when I went to sleep last night, fairly early for me. At just before 8am there was a loud pounding on my door. "Who the ____?" So I got up, put on my housecoat, pushed my big dangerous guard dog rottweiler out of my way and went down the hall to see who it was. It was some guy from one of our utility companies, "My computer says you have a well."
"A well?" says I.
"Do you have a well?" asks he.
"No. I don't have a well."
"Are you on city water?"
"Ya"
And off he goes. SMUCK!

I went back to bed and just lay there relaxing for awhile, then fell back to sleep. It was after 10... errr, or was that after 11am when I woke up. Came online and read a bunch of emails, stuff like that. Then it was time to run off to my song rehearsal. As I'd forgotten to eat and time had passed so quickly, I grabbed an apple and a slice of bread with peanut butter and jam. Also grabbed a small chunk of cheese and a bottle of Coke I had in the fridge. On the way to town I ate a bit of my meal as I drove, but also had to warm up my voice and you can't do that and eat too. Had a wonderful song rehearsal as always.

Went to a thrift store looking for a burgundy/wine color blazer. Found the perfect one.... for a lot smaller woman. Grrrrrr. Even when I was 'tiny' I don't think I wore size 10. I've always had broad shoulders and muscles, even with a 28" waste I had these shoulders and muscles. Ahhhh, those were the days.

Drove over to a guys place to pick up a free wheelbarrow he gave me through Freecycle. It's a really nice one, and just what I need if I ever find the time and the 'umph' to clean up the yard.

I went to both a drug store and the library to put up posters on their bulletin boards for the churches upcoming movies this month. Then went and got a bag of chicken feed. These critters keep eating but not laying. This is going to have to stop soon.... one way or another.

I came home to relax for about an hour, edited a few things I'd screwed up and needed to fix so PPP will accept my posts from last month, put up a new post and a short blurb about the movie so there would be a post to meet their ToS.... then grabbed a toasted peanut butter and jam sandwich as I dashed out the door to go to a movie at my Spiritual Centre. It was called "The Law of Attraction" I had thought it would be based on the book by the same name and author, but it wasn't. It was of Esther Hicks channeling Abraham... people took turns talking to Abraham and asking questions, getting them answered. It was really great!! Unfortunately, I was so tired I couldn't stay awake. I fought it and fought it, but I lost the battle and fell asleep, well, did a sleep/wake/sleep/wake thing for a bit, then finally was able to wake up and be okay. As soon as the movie was over I headed home, got here about 9:30.

As you can see, I spend a lot of time in my truck running here and there. I have always had a 'lead foot', lol... in other words, I drive fast... even when I don't mean to. I often thought I could use a good radar detector, though have never been stopped since I started trusting God to take care of me.

Made and ate a bowl of my special oatmeal that I usually have for breakfast, but didn't have time for this morning... and a cup of tea. I've been watching TV and trying to catch up on some of the unread emails in my inbox. I read over 100 of them, and still have 300 more to catch up on. I should just delete everything in the inbox... just wipe it all out, read and unread. Maybe I will one day... sigh.

Now I'm doing my daily posting here, will feed/water animals, let Reba out for a few minutes, and off to bed. I hope I get there before 2am tonight, but won't hold my breath. I plan to stay home tomorrow and get some stuff done around here... firstly a bunch of Pu2B posts as many of them are due tomorrow and I want the money.

The cost of oil hit a new record high today.... $96.70 per barrel. It costs them pennies per barrel, talk about profit.

Gas at the pumps went up 5 cents/ltr. where I live … now $1.089

The Canadian dollar closed at yet another all time high of $1.o852. While this sounds great, and does make a huge difference for people wanting to go 'state side' for vacations or shopping, it is causing many companies to close, much of their sales are to the US, so now the sales have dropped off because they don't want to pay the dollar difference. Well, we had to pay the difference between the two dollars for a lot of years and we lived through it.

Night Night.
