November 13th

It was a good day today. After going to bed at 5:30am, I slept late, but don't remember just now how late, haha. After spending a bit of time on my computer, eating breakfast, drying the load of laundry I washed yesterday (or was it the day before? hmmmm), and a few other little things, I dashed off to town for my song rehearsal. I always enjoy that hour or so each week, and it's always over too soon. When I was leaving, Hannah gave me a container of rice/tofu dinner to take with me. It was really good, and nice to have. I went from there to the Centre and did up the programs for next Sunday. It feels really good to have them done ahead of time, as they should always be.

Next, Reba and I went to the dog park and did 2x around. It was almost dark when we got there, and very dark when we left. We walked with Debbie, Kay and their dogs. I was pretty cold so went to Tim Horton's and got a tea & 3 Tim Bits (chocolate, of course). After that, I went to the Superstore and got milk, mixed nuts, beef liver, and 2 litre bottle of Canada Dry gingerale.
Then back to the Centre just after 6:30 to finish up the last of the programs I didn't get done earlier as I wanted to get to the dog park. Then it was time for the class I'm taking. Tonight was the first night of an 8 week class called "The Power Of Decision" based on the book of that name by Raymond Charles Barker. Wow, it was a great class. It's really hard to describe, but it's to do with Spiritual growth type things. After class I printed out a couple speeches I've written, and a spiritual mind treatment (specific type of prayer).

Oh ya, before class I showed one of my speeches to Rev. Dale. It's the one I will be giving at Toastmasters this coming Monday evening. It's on the Law of Attraction, and I just wanted to make sure I had all my facts straight. He then had me read it to the others in the class. Guess that means he liked it, haha. He gave me a bit of feedback on it, and yes, I had all my facts straight. It needs a lot more work before I preform it, but it's on the right road anyway. I have to decide yet too which project I'm going to use it for. I have 4 manuals and each on has 5 projects in it, so I have to decide which one this speech best fits.

When I left there I was headed home until I saw that Chevron gas is still $1.079 per litre, and the others are all up to $1.109. I turned around and drove back to Chevron and topped up my gas tank to the tune of $36 and change, and I wasn't even quite down to half a tank yet.

I got home about 11pm and the pellet stove had run out of pellets and was off. The house was getting cool. I brought in a bag of pellets and the house is well on its was to being warmer again.

Ahhhh, what else to tell you... the rabbit and chinchillas are fed and have had their treats for the night, the cat's had his cream... guess I still get to feed/water the budgie birds and give Reba her cookie as well as fresh water in her water bucket. Of course, I also get to choose a quote for you to read and post my weather report.

Oh ya, and post a Wordless Wednesday.... sigh.
