November 4th

Wow, what a day, lol. I'm exhausted. Last night when I looked at the clock and reported on the time, I was thinking I still had to turn the clock back, so I'd get an hour back. I was looking at the clock on my computer, thinking it would still be the "old" time until I turned it off and rebooted it, then it would come up the "new" time. Or at least I think that is what I thought, haha. Anyway, it turned out that the computer had at some point changed its time without me knowing it... sigh.

I ended up getting to bed at 4:30am. I set the alarm for 8:3o, but it was 8am when the phone range, and oh it was hard to wake up. It was Dan. I had left him a message on MSN last night, asking him to come over and give me a hand this morning. After calling he did come over and carried in the heavy stuff from my truck (5 gal. jug water... about 50 pounds, 18Kg/40 pound bag dog food, 20kg/44 pound cat litter) and a bag of pellets for my stove 40 pound. This is the first time I've ever called anyone to ask them to do something like this for me. I am strong and stubborn and I take great pride in being able to do stuff for myself. However, some days you have to do what you have to do. I try hard to avoid taking meds to control pain. While he did this I iced the cake I baked last night.

After Dan left I got showered, dressed, ate breakfast (fast) and off I went to church. I was later than usual, so I missed the meditation. I was there in plenty time to preside over the service. It all went very well. Most people stayed for birthday cake and there was still some to bring back home, though I wish there hadn't been, haha.

After everyone left I stayed there and worked at writing a speech to give tomorrow evening at Toastmasters. I need it to be 5-7 minutes long and what I wrote is 9 minutes, so I have to cut it down somewhat. I'm not feeling good about giving this speech tomorrow as it's a very important subject to me and I want to do it very well, so need more time to prep for it. I left the Centre around 4pm, over 5 hours ofter I got there.

I went back to Liquidation World and bought more pots. I figured at the price they were on for, and this being the last day of the sale... well, you get it. I was able to get one more set with the blue leaves (match the 2 sets I got yesterday), and I got 3 sets with brown flowers. So now I have 6 sets of plant pots and each set has 3 pots. I'll take pics of them in the next few days and measure the sizes, then post all that here for you. I know Misty Dawn will be interested and maybe others will too :o)

Then I went and had a look at a camper for my truck. It's being given away free over Freecycle and he said that's how he got it too. It needs a fair bit of work done on it but I think it can all be fixed up okay. But not by me. I think I deserve a better one that that and know that when the time is right I will get a better one.

By this time it was after 5pm and too dark to take Reba to the dog park for a walk. I went and grabbed a 6" pizza sub with lots of veggies on it, from Subway, and a small bottle of Coke and ate as I drove home.

I returned a phone call to Mom, then one to Dave (I think I told you about Dave, friend in wheelchair that I recently was reunited with after years of not seeing each other).

I went to do work on my speech then decided to write another one for tomorrow evening, and improve the one I wrote earlier (The Law Of Attraction) for later. I spent most of the evening working on one about Chinchillas and still have a lot of work to do on it, but am too tired to do more tonight. While working on the speech I watched Desperate Housewives as well as Brothers and Sisters. Can't miss those two shows, haha.

So now I'm doing my daily post committed to on NaBloPoMo. I wish I had more time to make some other posts I want to do, especially for PayPerPost and PayU2Blog as I have several to do... but not tonight and likely not tomorrow either. Tuesday will even be a squeeze, but we'll see. It's good to do this writing so I can look back in future and see what my days were like at this point in my life.

I still have to feed all my indoor critters (if you read yesterdays post, you know what animals I'm talking about), oh ya, I also have to go out to the chicken house. I left the gate open for them today as there was a hen out, so I let them all out, hahaha. Now I have to close things up to keep them all safe... and throw them some feed too. I also have to call Shadow (cat) in and put Reba (dog) out for a bit before bringing her in for bed. And ohhhhh I want to go to bed.

See you all tomorrow.

Note to self: Breath!!
(and post about plant pots asap)
