NaBloPoMo

This evening I received an email saying that Kai invited me to join NaBloPoMo (National Blog Posting Month). I would say it's more of an InNaBloPoMo (International Blog Posting Month), but it's already named, so.... This includes making a commitment to post every day of November, YIKES, and it also gives you chances to win prizes, and gets your blog on another blogroll.

I'm not sure that getting on another blog roll makes any real difference to your blogs PR, though. I was at PR3 here and got onto a lot of new blogrolls, had lots of other bloggers ad me to their sites, etc. and with the recent (finally) update of PR I am now a 4. Thank God I went up, but would have liked to see it go to a 5. I think a lot of what I did 'expired' long before Google got around to doing the update, and I'm sure that's true for many of you too. Reba went from PR0 to PR3, a nice jump. So far I have not seen any ops for PR4, so being a 4 has not helped me at all, but maybe one day I will see an op I can take as a 4 that I couldn't as a 3.

But I digress. There is the hope that others doing the NaBloPoMo will come by to look around here, maybe even become a regular, and thereby add to the 'traffic' here, which might up my PR the next time (whenever that will be) that Google does an update. I also will visit new blogs through NaBloPoMo over the next month or more.

Wanna join in the fun/challenge?

A 4 is pretty darn nice Alice! I dropped to a 2, and my dot com got a pathetic ONE!

Oh well.

Glad you joined NaBloPoMo too! It's always a good thing to get involved and get our blogs seen somewhere else :-)

Speaking of blogs - do you need help with your new one? Email me if you do, I'm not great at it, but can change a theme, and upload plugins, etc. Let me know - I don't mind at all - remember, I had help doing mine too, so I'd love to pay it forward :-)

I already blog just about every day, so I won't sign up. But if you have then I'll be here for cheering!
