I was supposed to have company for dinner Halloween night, but it didn't happen. I had invited a friend over, one who I like a lot and dream about one day being more than just friends. Anyway, I was in a lot of pain the last few days and finally decided that no matter how much I want to see and spend time with Bob (I'll call him Bob here because, well, that's his name), I finally had to accept that I just couldn't do it. I picked up the phone, about to call him and cancel, when the phone rang and yes, it was Bob. He called to see if dinner was still on as he hadn't heard from me since Tuesday last week when I invited him, and he was swamped with work, so couldn't make it here for dinner. I felt so relieved, and at the same time disappointed, haha. Funny how things work out when you're 'in tune'. Both of us wanted to get together but for our own good reasons had to postpone it until another day. Now I have about another week to clean up my house too, haha. I have been having a full blown flareup of fibromyalgia and arthritis, though this evening I am feeling somewhat better, so tomorrow should be good. (Tomorrow being later today, depending on how you look at it. It's shortly after 1am now, and I haven't gone to bed yet, as usual)
When I do up the kitchen for dinner company I want to fancy up the table. I have to decide if I want to use a tablecloth, or a table runner, or both together as my sister does. I wish I had nice place mats. I'll have to weave some, but not this week. I have some old ones I can dig out, but not the color I want so may go buy some cheap ones. Add some nice dishes, candle or two, maybe a small plant for a center piece. Should look nice.

hey, no matter what tablecloth you pick - I hope it works out between you and Bob, I keep my fingers crossed... take care!
Hope you feel better already. I wish you all the best in your personal life. Life is full of surprises and you never know what might happen.
Samira - thanks for your comment. I know that for Bob the tablecloth matters not one bit, haha. However, to make money with that post I had to add something with a link to the anchor text "tablecloth". I've been keeping my fingers crossed for aqbout 4 1/2 years and it seems to finally be starting to go in the right direction... we'll see.
Melody - yes, I am feeling much better now, though still not 100%. This fall weather doesn't help my body any. I am open to the joyous 'surprises' life has to offer. Thanks for your encouragement.
hope you're feeling better, and you get your friend over for a nice dinner soon.
I see your weather reports with very cold temperatures, you keep wrapped up warm!!
