Party On

With 11 days to go before Halloween, I am remembering some of the parties I've gone to and costumes I've worn for Halloweens past. I was never really big on house parties, though did go to some, but always did love going to the bars and night clubs to dance all night. At house parties you sit around drinking, at night clubs you dance the night away. However, if the party is planned right, there are games and such to play that make it fun. One year I was going with a fellow that was 'clean', a member of Narcotics Anonymous (NA) and we went to a party at the home of a friend of his. I forget now what we each dressed as, but I remember that all the people there were NA and/or AA, so there was no drinking or drugs there. Instead we played different games, including Scavenger Hunt. The only times I've played Scavenger Hunt was at family get togethers, so we (our team) played by my family rules, and later when we won, some people said we cheated. They should meet and play with my family, they'd get a real eye opener, haha. I remember we had a lot of fun that night.
