Hi. Well, I'm back from my weekend away. I had a good time and got my truck all done for winter. There were a couple times I had fleeting thoughts about my computer, but for the most part didn't even miss it.
I left the truck with Peter to do the work on it (more about this later) and went to stay with Mike. Mike lives in a 36' 5th Wheel RV with 2 slide outs that make it a bit wider than it would otherwise be. One time I'll have to remember to take some pictures of it, lol. Whenever I go to visit he sleeps on the couch and gives me his bedroom, which I think is pretty darn nice of him. He also has a motor home that he used to live in, and each summer we take this to Omak, a small town in Washington state, USA. They have a rodeo and 'suicide race' there the second weekend of August that we like to go to. There are 3 beds in the motor home, so this works well, and this year Stacey went with us, and each of us had a place to sleep. Stacey lives in a motor home in the same RV Park as Mike and they are very good friends.
I am still thinking a lot about selling my place and buying something much cheaper so I can still have my own home and invest some of the money too. Getting an RV is definitely an option I am considering, though I'd have to get rid of a LOT of 'stuff' and put a lot into storage as I will not get rid of my antiques or my saddles, or a few other things. Much to consider.
If I do decide to sell this place I'll have to decide do I try selling it myself, or do I list it with a realtor. If I lived in the USA, I could look online for a realtor.

We'll be part-time "full timers" in our RV...There are tons of blogs on RV full-timers on the web.
Just make sure you have one that is all weather...We have an airstream and I **big puffy heart** the darn thing!
Just love it!
I don't know Alice. You live in such a beautiful place who would want to leave it. RV'ing would be fun though and you meet so many nice people, even those named Alice.
Welcome back.
My folks just got their RV. They won't be living in it full time or even part time. But they are ready to start the travel phase of their retirement.
Welcome back! :)
