Stuff and Such

Had a great day today.

1- Went to church early to put together the program that I usually like to have together earlier in the week. This last minute thing has got to go. I was the presider today (kind of like an MC) which I always enjoy as I like public speaking. (I know... I'm weird, lol), as well as the song leader which I am every Sunday. After the service there was tea/coffee & cookies as usual, then everyone left except Andree & myself. She's the treasurer and was doing some work, I needed some numbers from her that she had to work her way to... need them for next week's program, so I stuck around and did a bit of my own work. Next Sunday's program is totally ready now except for the 3 congregational song titles. Our pianist, Hannah, will be away next week so we have a guest musician coming in and I don't know what songs he wants to do. I phoned him but got his voice mail, so left a message and now must wait (or try again tomorrow). I also got the Membership List up to date and ready to print off for our next board meeting.

2- Reba and I went to the dog park for a nice walk in the rain. I'll leave that story for now as she may want to write about it for her Dogic Monday post. (Manic Monday to us humans, but hey, she's a dog).

3- Took a nice drive around an area called The BX. I was looking for photos to take of animals. I'm not really happy with the ones I have for my fair entries, so looking for better. I'll post the better ones to my other blog Decisions Decisions and hope some of you go have a look and see how you like them.... I'm looking for feedback to help me choose.

4- I picked up some cat food and a couple more bits at the grocery store on my way home. Supper, good movie on TV, sitting on couch working on my laptop while Reba sleeps on the floor nearby.... doesn't get much better than that.
