I have a confession to make. I have not been to the gym in over a week now. For awhile I was managing to get there every day, then life got crazy again. Last Wednesday it was on my "to do list" and by the time I got everything else on the list done it was time to go to the board meeting... no time left to get to the gym, and of course, by the time the board meeting was over the gym had been closed for an hour or more. The rest of the week went pretty much like that on the day(s) I went into town. Sunday and Monday the gym was closed for the long weekend, then this week it's also been busy and crazy, so I've not manages to get there. This is not keeping with my fitness plans. Today I am going to make a special trip in to town just to go to the gym, and anything else I get done while in town will be a bonus... after the gym, not before it!
I sure hope they have the AC cranked up high as it's been very warm here this week. 34C (93F) and according to The Weather Network, due to other conditions, it felt like 39C (102). All I know is that it sure felt hot! Too hot to be doing anything strenuous.

When you're at the gym today, ask them for a diagram of stretches that you can do on days you don't make it there.
That way, you don't have to worry if you can't get to the gym. Stretching will help you maintain your progress.

Ohhh.. I've been SO off my weight loss plan for over a week (or two). The best thing to keep in mind is that we can always start up again.
