Okay... I've been tagged. I know I've been tagged 2 other times not so far distant in time, and still haven't gotten to them... sigh... but will still try to do so soon. Tonight I went to see what Claire at Clairesgarden is up to and found she'd tagged me for the Wikipedia meme. So here we gooooooo......
I went to Wikipedia, typed in my birth date (January 8) and will now copy/paste from it to meet the required numbers as follows.
3 events that happened on that day in history (there are a lot of things, starting in 871, but I'll pick out just 3):
1499 - Louis XII of France marries Anne of Brittany.
1877 - Crazy Horse and his warriors fight their last battle with the United States Cavalry at Wolf Mountain (Montana Territory).

2 important birthdays (I think it means other than mine, sheesh! There are a lot of cool ones there, so a challenge to choose.) :
1556 - Uesugi Kagekatsu, Japanese samurai and warlord (d. 1623) (I was born on his 400th birthday.... what a gift! haha)
1935 - Elvis Presley, American singer and guitarist (d. 1977)
1 death (again, lost of interesting names to choose from) :
1935 - Jesse Garon Presley, stillborn twin brother of Elvis Presley
