Yes, "On The Road Again" is a song by Willy Nelson... and it describes ME! Haha. Yesterday and today I have running around trying to get things ready and leave early this morning. Well, I missed the "early", but will soon be on the road.
I'm off to the Kootenay region of BC for about a week to visit a long time friend (Cam), to spend time in and get to know the town where he lives, and to meet Kai from The Buzz Queen who lives not too terribly far from Cam, in that area of our province. Claire of Clairesgarden is over from Scotland visiting also in the Kootenay region, in a town a little over an hour from where I'm staying. We have been planning to get together too, though the daughter of the friends she's visiting had a baby so they all went to Oregon to see the new mom & baby, and Claire doesn't know when they'll be returning... but we are hoping it will be in time for us to have our visit "in real life" before she has to fly back to Scotland. Claire left a message on my answering machine the other day and it was so exciting to hear her voice!! This should be a lot of fun. I sure am fortunate to have a good friend like Dan as he is my "critter sitter" so I know my "babies" will all be fine while I'm gone. Reba is coming with me, so that should be fun.
See you all in about a week, or sooner if I get on a computer somewhere.

Crazy - as I'm writing this after I returned from the trip I can honestly say YES!! Kai is a sweetie!! I really enjoyed our time together and hope we visit again in the not too distant future.
Claire - thanks for visiting. I am very blessed to have had the opportunity to meet Kai and Claire (spelled the same as you, lol) who came over from Scotland for a visit. They are both awesome women!
