Manic Monday

MANIC MONDAY!!!

Hi every one... welcome to my Manic Monday post. As always, Manic Monday is hosted by Mo over at It's A Blog Eat Blog World. The word today is RED.

Today is Memorial Day in the USA and I see some of the posts made by Americans are about the red of bloodshed, and mostly about honor and the "Red, White & Blue" of their country's flag. Our neighbors to the south are largely very patriotic.

In honor of our neighbor, the USA.

Seeing the US flag made me want to post the "Red & White" of the Canadian flag.

While I was checking on AltaVista Images for Canadian and US flags to post here, I saw lots of nice and outrageous and even funny representations of our flag, so thought I'd show some here.

Some I won't post here at this time as I'm saving them for July 1st - Canada Day Celebration!

Here is one more photo for you... I took this one in Chiliwack BC on the way to my brother's wedding in May. We stopped at Tim Horton's for coffee/tea to go and I just had to take some photos, haha

If you have a Manic Monday post up, please leave a link to it with Mr. Linky

Everyone please remember to leave a comment!
Have an awesome day!

Oh, I love the bikini picture... but our German flag is black-red-golden striped... we don´t have so lovely colors like you in canda - and the wonderful maple-leaf, which is displaying nicely on the bikini *twinkles*, is missing in Germany, too. Our horizontal stripes won´t schmooze my after-pregnancy body, either. So I guess I´m in need of a Canadian bikini. Another great reason to visit your beautiful country again ;)

Thanks for stopping by on this Manic Monday! Hope you've had a good one. Your post was wonderfully full of red! The flower was beautiful as well as the flag pictures. :)

Have a good one.

What a great post. Thanks for sharing things from Canada. All of us in America seemed to gravitate to Memorial Day. Happy MM.

Bee - thank you :o)

Sanni - feel free to come to Canada any time! I'm not sure where you would find a bikini like this, but if you sew you could always buy 3 small flags and make one... haha. Then would you find some ice and snow so you can pose for pictures??? Haha.

Crazy - thanks for stopping in. Glad you liked my MM post.

Comedy + - thanks for popping in and leaving this nice comment. Have a great day.

Jamie - Canada Day will be here really soon... one month from today as I finally get to answering these comments. Time if flying by very quickly. On July 1 at church I am soloing "Lord of the Dance" (with a few word changes from the original) so must practice it a lot... starting soon, haha.

Villager - thanks. There was another one I thought many would like... girl in white thong bikini holding flag below her butt... thought it might be a bit "raunchy" for a blog I'm trying to PayPerPost on, haha. Maybe I'll show it another time.

Claire - glad you liked it. I'm sure other chances will come along to do this with the British flag. :o)

Travis - thank you. I tend to like our neighbors to the south too. :o)

Tegdirb - thanks for stopping by and leaving your comment. Come back any time.

Shaz - hopefully your not angry to "see red" so much, haha. Thanks for the visit. Have a great day and come on back again.
