A laugh for you:

Hi all.
The weather here hasn't been all one could hope for while on vacation, but being the May long weekend it's not a big surprise that it's raining a fair bit, it does that "back home" too. Today though we had some sun and clear sky instead of the rain. There was an antique car show on main street and my friend Cam had one of his collection there... a 1937 Dodge coop. He's the 3rd owner of this beauty and knew the other 2 owners. It was very nice to see all the antique cars on the street in front of the heritage stores. However, there were several cars there that are younger than I am... what's up with that? Geeeeez! Reba and I walked up town and had a great time with many people coming over to pet her and say how beautiful she is. Just goofing around, when one guy said "beautiful", I said "Thanks... and my dog's kind of cute too don't you think?" Haha. I think he was laughing with me, not at me, but hey, who knows. :o) So, all in all I'm really enjoying being here, spending time with Cam who I've been friends with for about 30 years though haven't spent a lot of time with in many years now, as well as meeting new people and seeing this beautiful town. This is a small town with big mountains, lol. Reba is very peaceful and content here, much calmer than she usually is. Maybe that's because at home there's so many other animals around and here she's the only one so doesn't feel she has to compete for attention... maybe, but I don't know for sure. She seems to know too that she has to be specially careful with Cam as he is physically challenged with Cerebro Pulsy (not sure if that's spelled right, but...).

So, I leave you with a joke Cam gave me. He always has great jokes, though some of the best can't be shared here, haha.

A thief in Paris decided to steal some paintings from the Louvre.
After careful planning, he got past security, stole the paintings, and made it safely to his van. However, he was captured only two
blocks away when his van ran out
of gas. When asked how he could mastermind such a crime and then make such an
obvious error, he replied:
"Monsieur, that's the reason I stole the paintings. I had no Monet to buy Degas to make the Van Gogh."
And I bet you thought I didn't have De Gaulle to post this here.

Hey Alice, I'm back with the 'Review My Post' info you asked about....

It's pretty simple actually - just click the badge which says 'Get Paid to Review my Post' (on any of my posts - one you'd like to write about would be best :), enter your information on the sign up page, wait a couple of days for approval by PPP, then write the 'opportunity' they offer you to 'review' MY post.

You get paid 30 days later - and I get paid a finders fee as well for referring you. We both WIN!

You can then write up to 3 'opps' per day and be paid... yahoo!

I've been doing it since December 06 and have earned over 1400.00 USD.

Click that badge!

You can check my post to read some of the details of PayPerPost's 'Get paid to blog about the things you love..."
